Motivation and enthusiasm in the job are at least as important as practical experience and thorough expertise. During their visit at fteu in Heinsberg, the students of the Aachen University learned about career and development opportunities that can be offered by today’s working world and especially by a medium-sized family business.
During an agile discussion, scholarship holders were given an insight into the company’s history and the diverse fields of functional solutions of metal mesh and metal fibres. Management and sales demonstrate how current requirements of industry 4.0 and digital work places can be combined successfully with traditional manufacturing processes. Furthermore, the students learned about the aspects that are most important for today’s employers when selecting potential job candidates and about the options to influence their own career opportunities. “Today, we are supporting the scholarship holders of the Aachen University with internships, Bachelor- and Master-Thesis to pave the way for a successful collaboration with qualified employees in the future,” said
